TecPlex® P2460 is a thixotropic calcium sulfonate grease/rust preventative base in 100% ISO460 paraffinic oil designed for use in formulations where extreme temperature range, high-performance industrial greases with excellent corrosion protection is required.

TecPlex® P2460 has a high viscosity at room temperature, with low volatility, high flash point, and fire resistance. It generally serves as a formulating building block for customized heavy load / high temperature and shock resistant industrial greases and rust preventatives.

TecPlex® P2460 is hydrophobic with excellent water spray-off properties making TecPlex® P2460 suitable for use in wet environments such as steel & paper mills, construction, and mining applications.
