The LockNFlate Large Bore Locking Air Chuck is made for VG12 and 12V1 large bore tire valves, the heavy duty valves used on agricultural, construction, mining and commercial truck tires. Six steel jaws lock onto the valve and hold the chuck in place, so you can step away from the tire while it fills instead of standing there holding a chuck against the stem.
A spring loaded seal lets you inflate with or without the valve core installed, and the large bore passage moves noticeably more air than a standard Schrader chuck, which is what you want when you are filling a tractor, loader or off road truck tire.
Open flow or closed flow
- Open flow (LNL65021) - air passes straight through the chuck. Choose this when the chuck runs off an inflator gauge or any tool that has its own trigger or shut off.
- Closed flow (LNL65022) - the chuck stays sealed until it is engaged on the valve. Choose this when the chuck is connected directly to a compressor line with nothing to shut the air off in between.
Both versions fit the same valves and use the same locking head. The only difference is where the air stops.
