Macnaught FCM Fuel Flow Meter
CONTACT US FOR MORE

Macnaught FCM Fuel Flow Meters are special-purpose flow devices designed to provide .1% Accuracy in Fuel Consumption Meter Applications.

FCM Meters thrive in harsh environments and work very well in heavy vibration, swirling dust, flying mud, heavy rain or other excessive mobile or stationary conditions. This meter class works with clean filtered fluids only and does not measure gas or liquids with solids present.

The unique magnetic attachment method does away with mechanical fastening and improves substrate mating while significantly reducing connection stress.

Our built-in temperature sensor allows for Diesel Fuel temperature compensation capabilities for maximum accuracy purposes.

Two flow ranges are offered that cover the majority of diesel engine models:
MX12FCM .5-8 GPM
MX25FCM 1.6-9.5 GPM

Minimal Pressure Drop, typically .5 PSI to 2 PSI

The FCM Series is designed for Diesel Fuels of all types and is used in numerous fuel measurement industries including:

Fracking Engines
Drilling Platforms – Generator Fuel Measurement
Mining Trucks
Logging Equipment
Gen-Set Fleets

Principle of Operation
The measuring element of an oval gear meter consists of two high-precision splined oval-shaped gears (Rotors).

The gears are driven by the flow of the media and “mesh” together. In the presence of flow, exact known defined volumes of fluid are swept through the meter per each rotor rotation.

As flow increases, so does the rotational speed of the Rotors.

The number of revolutions is a precise highly accurate measure of the fluid that has passed through the meter. Regardless of viscosity, pressure, or temperature.

Each “active” Rotor rotation creates a pulse and is detected by a sensor. Each meter is individually calibrated per ISO 17025 standards to 0.1% accuracy

What Our Customers are Saying

Rated 4.5 stars 12,151+ excellent reviews and counting

I am very happy with the latest Jaltest Updates and the software overall. Lots of great information on here. The schematics alone save you time and money as it is almost impossible to have all this information right at your fingertips.

Our guys love the DCbright Dark Licht M30’s on our pavers very cool non-glare technology allows them to work without being blinded!  Also like the larger Dark Licht non-glare lights for our yard applications which we intend to implement

Gobys are a very impressive equipment light could not believe the weight of them compared to the crappy lights we are using that get busted off all the time.  Unreal quality we will use them on all our equipment from now on.
